Academic year 2025-2026

Academic achievement

According to ICS, Moslin's achievement stands out not only because of the strength of his grades, but because of the range of subjects in which he excels. His success across science, business, and core academic areas demonstrates the kind of well-rounded ability that the ICS High Schooler of the Year Award was created to honor. The organization describes Moslin as a student with rare focus, strong character, and the kind of long-term vision often seen in future innovators, executives, and community leaders.

Scholarship recognition

As part of the recognition, ICS awards Moslin a $5,000 scholarship in honor of his academic accomplishments. However, in a gesture that reflects his character and maturity, Moslin graciously declines the scholarship after determining that he already has sufficient financial support. He instead requests that ICS donate the full amount to another aspiring student with financial need, allowing the scholarship to support someone who can benefit from it more directly.

ICS praises Moslin's decision as an example of generosity, humility, and leadership beyond the classroom. While academic success remains an important part of the award, the organization emphasizes that the strongest candidates are those who combine achievement with integrity. Moslin's choice to redirect the scholarship funds reflects a thoughtful awareness of others and a willingness to use his recognition to create opportunity for another student.
